For the mama who knows these days won't last forever

Peoria, Il Photographer

Timeless, honest images that help you slow down and soak it in.

You never get the moments back.

from one mother to another

And you'll nevrer regret capturing the memories

My first baby was born during the pandemic. Quite literally the week the world shut down in March of 2020.  I didn't realize how much I wanted the newborn photos until I couldn't have them. Gone was the option of baby only photos or the entire family. Gone was the opportunity to have his carefully decorated nursery captured. Gone was the chance to have the tiny details of our growing family documented (with me in them!).

As a mom of three, my passion for the beauty that exists within everyday family life began in that season of longing—and it’s what now guides every session I photograph. I understand how quickly these days pass, how deeply you want to remember them, and how important it is to feel seen in the images that tell your story.

It’s an honor to step into your world and create timeless photographs that reflect the love, warmth, and connection of your family—so that years from now, you’ll still feel what these days were like.

I have three precious children 5 and under. Yes-they were three under three at one point! I understand the chaos and joy of family life and love the energy.

A few of my favs

Elementary teacher

I was an elementary school teacher. My favorite grade to teach was kindergarten. I stepped away from the classroom when I had my children but still love hearing "Mrs. Mendoza!" when I run into former students.

Wife

My husband and I have been married almost 10 years and have loved all the adventures we've been on so far. Our latest adventure includes home renovation projects and enjoying our life with our young children.

California native

My husband and I were both born and raised in Southern California and will always call it home! Due to his career in the military, we have lived all over the South and are enjoying getting to know the Midwest.

She truly captured our family perfectly and will be a treasure for years to come!
