I specialize in relaxed and authentic lifestyle newborn photos. I do not do wrapped or posed photos, apart from loose swaddles. Once you submit an inquiry with your due date, we can start planning for your maternity and newborn session.

Newborn sessions can take place in your home or outdoors (available March through October). Outdoor newborn sessions typically take place at either sunrise or sunset. We select a tentative date based on your due date and finalize it once baby is born. Newborn photos are scheduled between the first 7-10 days of life. This helps us avoid the baby acne phase! However, babies are newborns until 12 weeks old. If the 10 days time frame doesn’t work out for your family, we will still get beautiful photos of your babe!

A 30% nonrefundable retainer secures your date. The remainder is paid 3 days before your session. If you are considering an in-home session, we’ll talk through the most ideal spots in your house, as well as the most suitable time of day.

When I arrive for your in home session, we will evaluate the light and find the best room to take the photos in. I highly encourage flexibility in which space we use. The most beautiful photos will be produced with the most amount of natural light. Newborn sessions last anywhere from 45 minutes to 2 hours. We will get a variety of photos including: baby alone, baby with whole family, baby with each parent, baby with siblings (if any) and nursery details, if you have one. Furry family members are also welcome!
