Valerie and Skyler’s Perry maternity photos at the Flat Creek PFA were nothing short of perfect. After almost an entire month of rain, the sunshine and beautiful sunset were a welcome surprise.
Preparing for maternity photos
Having been pregnant in the summer, I know you may dread having outdoor maternity photos in the summer. However, the benefit to doing it around sunset is that the sun has gone down and the temperature has as well. I recommend scheduling your session for around the 28-32 week mark. By this point in your pregnancy, your bump is on full display but you’re not too uncomfortable. This is also a great time to pamper yourself-get a manicure, pedicure, and have someone do your makeup for you!
The perfect location
There are many beautiful locations in Middle Georgia. For these Perry maternity photos, we went to the Flat Creek PFA, which is one of my favorite spots. This fishing lake has a variety of spots for photos in just one location. Additionally, the lake gets more beautiful as the sun sets and evening arrive. Just look at the colors we got this evening! As the sun set, the sky started turning a beautiful cotton candy pink color. Not only was the sky amazing, but Valerie’s dress coordinated perfectly with the location!
Remembering this special time
Valerie and Skyler have just a few weeks until baby boy arrives and I know they’re so excited to meet him. Their Perry maternity photo session was a beautiful way to remember this time. If you’ve never considered documenting your pregnancy, what’s stopping you! Did you know I offer a maternity and newborn bundle? I know what it’s like to have a million things to check off your list. My bundle is the perfect way to make sure you capture those memories in a stress free way. I can’t wait to meet baby boy at his newborn session and reveal the meaningful way they chose his name!
