I always hear from clients that they just don’t know what to wear or how to pick out outfits that coordinate aren’t matchy-matchy. That, coupled with the the weather, can make it difficult to know what to wear. I have three easy tips to help you pick the perfect outfits for summer family photos!

1. Light, neutral colors-this recommendation is good year round, but it is especially pertinent in the summer. Lighter colors will keep you cooler, as they reflect light better. They also will help you stand out against the greenery that we love so much about summer. Soft colors like whites, peaches, light blues, and pinks will give your family photos an ethereal look.
2. Keep fabric in mind-summer is the perfect season for lighter fabrics like linen. Picking a breathable material will keep you cooler, which will make you more comfortable and relaxed.
3. Wear flowy dresses-summer is the perfect time for a dress with movement! A flowy dress or skirt is infinitely more comfortable than something more form fitting. It’s also more flattering, and who doesn’t love that!?
