These Little Rock in home newborn photos are the perfect example of not needing a large space. In home photos are truly about preserving your tender first few weeks as a new family, in a comfortable and familiar space. The focus is not on showcasing your home! For Henry’s newborn photos, we utilized a small window in just one room. It IS possible to get emotive photographs that embody the essence of your new little family in a small space.

One of my favorite additions to these Little Rock in home newborn photos were the thoughtfully curated details. If you don’t have a nursery ready or the nursery gets poor light and you would rather do the photos elsewhere, flat lays (yes, like for weddings!) are an excellent option to be able to document the details you have carefully thought out for your little one. With a monogram banner custom made by Jessica White Designs as the focal point, we photographed some of Henry’s sweet details like the ultrasound, hand knit booties, and engraved rattle. A wonderful way to ensure your newborn photos capture everything about this stage!
